The programs at Junior Prep have been designed to address the proceeding areas of a child’s development:

  • Self-Development and Family Life emphasizes self-help skills, health and nutrition, growing and changing, dangers of a stranger, and crisis and coping.
  • Social and Emotional Development of Values highlights the concept of self, interactions with others, and social competence.
  • Cognitive Skills addresses age-appropriate use of language, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music and movement, and dramatic play.
  • The Motor Development Program incorporates the use of manipulatives and structures athletic activities that strengthen gross and fine motor skills.  Daily activities allow the child to spend time with others and work independently.
